A s the world continues to take things day by day, Epsilon Chapter remains focused on the future. We are thrilled to report that social distancing protocols haven't impacted our construction timeline, and our Chapter House renovations are on schedule and nearing completion. Most importantly, the renovation's July 1 completion date is still on target! Within this update, you will find a series of timeline photos provided by our architect showcasing construction progress. We can't wait to share more photos of the completed renovation later this year! Brick laying of the exterior walls began mid-April. On the interior, we have carpeted and painted the housemother's quarters, painted the living room, and are finishing up the first-floor hall. Check out the photos to see everything we have accomplished so far. TKE will have the nicest home at Iowa State this coming school year. While construction is winding down, our need for funding remains. Careful planning and balancing of financing have gotten us this far, but we need alumni to continue fulfilling their pledges, recruiting friends and family to join the cause, and stretching themselves to ensure the strongest future for Epsilon Chapter. To date, 159 donors (representing just 10% of our membership) have committed more than $4.1 million to the renovation and scholarship endowment efforts. With a goal of $4.5 million, we hope to welcome more Fraters to the list of supporters and bring our participation up to 18%. It is important to us that as many Tekes as possible are represented in this effort. The newly renovated Chapter House will be our legacy as alumni, and we want to ensure our donor list reflects that. We extend our sincere thanks to the donors with open pledge schedules for honoring your commitment with timely payments and considering an additional gift. For our Fraters who have yet to participate, now is the time! With the help of alumni, we are confident we will reach our goal. Please use the enclosed pledge card to submit your gift today. Pledges can be spaced out over time to help maximize your giving; one-time donations are also welcomed and greatly appreciated!
