THE CHIMES Epsilon Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon Iowa State University P.O. Box 442100 Lawrence, KS 66044-2100 Address Service Requested "I'd be lying if I said I never participated in any of the shenanigans that should've driven a normal housemother to an early retirement—flipping/re-arranging the living room furniture, "1-2-3 Jump for Mom Sandy," and "Waiters Suck" wrestling matches during formal dinners (just to name a few)," Eric said. "The fact that Mom Sandy lasted 29 years shows how strong-willed her character is and just how much she cared for the fraternity and men who lived there. She will be missed by all Epsilon TKEs." HER 110 BOYFRIENDS Zach and all the Fraters he lived with in the Chapter House are thankful for how Mom Sandy helped shape their college experience. While her departure was unexpected and saddens Zach, he's committed to ensuring that Mom Sandy's successor(s) will look out for the best interests of Fraters just as she did so well for 29 years. Zach is chairing the committee to determine Epsilon Chapter's next house parent(s) and encourages Fraters to reach out to him with any questions about the process. He'd also love to hear your favorite stories about Mom Sandy. "My favorite memory of Mom Sandy was during our Chapter's work weeks. She would hang out with the members outside frequently," Zach said. "We would eat lunch with her on the porch, dance with her, and she flirted with her 110 boyfriends. Mom Sandy was always a joy to be around and constantly showed interest in our men's lives. She will truly be missed." If any Fraters are interested in writing to Mom Sandy, mail can be sent to Sandy Clem, 725 Timberland Drive #309, Story City, Iowa 50248. Sharing Our Love for Mom Sandy (Continued from page 4) Mom Sandy with Scott Bovard '76 E-1233 and Brad Williams '78 E-1287 on the front porch of the TKE house. Scott was visiting from Montana and was Brad's Big Bro. Brad shares that Scott and Mom Sandy were huge influences on him ever since he joined TKE.
