6 Alumni Notes In the fall, Dr. Don Schawang asked our alumni to update us and here are their responses! Please share your news with us at alumni@seaburyacademy.org. 2003 Emily Kotay '03 received her bachelor of arts in anthropology with a minor in biology from Mount Holyoke College in 2007 and her master of public administration from the University of Kansas in 2013. She is at the University of Arizona working in international partnerships and research development. 2005 Jacob Esau '05 graduated in 2009 from Rose- Hulman with a computer engineering degree and received his MBA from the University of Kansas in 2013. He is a principal technical consultant at Sopheon. Rachel Wigen-Toccalino '05 is a program manager in the tech industry and lives in California with her husband, Eder Davila Contreras. 2006 2009 2012 Steven King '05 graduated from the University of Kansas with a psychology degree. He is an Episcopal priest at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Omaha. He and his wife Ellen have a 4-year-old son, Jack. Ayesha Bani Singh '05 graduated from St. Johns College with an undergraduate degree in western philosophy and a bachelor and master of science degrees in nursing from General Hospital Institute of Health Professionals. She is engaged to Joe Shortsleeve, and they have a dog named Bili. Susie Warden '05 graduated from Skidmore College with a degree in classics and owned a Pilates studio. She is married to Max Ballenger. They have a 2-year-old son, Miles, and a chihuahua named Liz Lemon. Bria Phipps '09 graduated from the University of Tulsa with a Bachelors in Exercise and Sports Sciences and holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Creighton University. Bria is engaged to Jay Livingston. Julia Davidson '09 graduated with a bachelor of arts in performance studies from Macalester College and received a master of arts in dance from Mills College. She is a grant writer and dance teacher. Julia married Hunter Bradley in 2017 and hey have a cat named Motorcycle, aka "Cy." Charlotte Burch '12 graduated with a bachelor's degree in interior design and minor in psychology in 2017. She is in her first year as a candidate for dual master's degrees in urban design and urban and regional planning from the University of Michigan. Jordan Noller '06 received her undergraduate degree in environmental studies and biology from Knox College and her master of arts in classics from the University of Kansas. She is engaged to Lucas Dutcher and they have two children, Scotlyn (8) and Milo (2), and a lot of rescue animals.
