Department of Transportation this month regarding the proposal to improve the intersection of John McMillan Road and Chickenfoot Road in Cumberland County. This project proposes to improve safety and mobility. Due to COVID-19, NCDOT will not host an in-person public meeting for this intersection improvement project in Hope Mills. The Department has developed a public input website to provide you with the following: • An overview of the project • The proposed project map • How to read a public meeting map video • How to navigate roundabouts video https://publicinput.com/Chickenfoot-HopeMills The public can view the project materials and leave comments by accessing the public input webpage shown above. There will not be a formal presentation. People may also submit comments by phone (512-580-8850 enter project code 5854), email (Chickenfoot-HopeMills@PublicInput.com), or mail to the project manager by May 25th.
