"2020 was the year of change and challenge—especially for small businesses," says Dawn Cross, President of the BVBA. "We are here to support and promote recovery and growth. Our new and energetic Board of Directors is eager to facilitate 'COMMUNITY' through mutual support encouraging SHOP LOCAL." Eligibility Any local company in NW Arkansas, professional person, or nonprofit group is eligible for a BVBA membership. e Application for Membership is available online and the annual membership is $85. Business Meetings Currently, monthly Zoom meetings keep us informed of the Association's activities, they provide an opportunity to network, to receive referrals, and to hear interesting business- related programs. We also have fun, social networking "Pop-Up Events" planned for 2021. Our Facebook page will have all the details and as a member you will also receive emails giving you the dates and locations. Community e BVBA Business Fairs showcase our members' products and services not only to other businesses but to the community at large. Saturday, May 22, 2021, our first public event of the year, will take place in the large parking lot near Riordon Hall and Kingsdale Park. Having the Fair outdoors complies with the Arkansas COVID-health guidelines. We also hope to host a second Business Fair later this year! Our Facebook page and member emails will keep you up to date. Monthly advertising using digital and printed venues will keep residents of Bella Vista and beyond informed. In years past, they've been well- attended! Business Directory Every year we print a very nice directory promoting you, your business name, location, contact information, and includes a description of your business. You may also want to purchase an ad layout to get noticed even more. ese directories are distributed by the thousands. One of the great benefits is that it allows you to see who belongs to the Association so you can easily find others when you have a need or a customer lead or referral. We support our own!
