T
he fall semester at Alpha Delta was an excellent one for
our collegiate sisters. Throughout the major restrictions,
they adapted and saw huge academic and philanthropic
successes. You'd be forgiven for thinking it was a normal,
successful semester—just with even wider personal space!
The challenges of 2020 are not yet over, and while we are
optimistic that 2021 will reach a brighter note toward the fall,
it has become clear that the state of the world isn't where
we'd hope for this semester. We take no joy in canceling the
centennial celebration this April, but we must do so for safety
as we ride out the remainder of the pandemic. BUT, we plan
to make up for it with a huge 101st anniversary celebration
next year. For now, mark your calendars for April 29-May 1,
2022, and follow our alumnae Facebook group at facebook.
com/groups/AlphaDeltaAlumnae/ for future updates.
State of the House
Our campaign is over and the planned renovations are
complete, but the Affiliated House Corporation Board still
needs support for smaller chapter house projects. Three
outside doors took a beating during construction and could
use an upgrade. These would cost roughly $1,000-$1,500
each and would be reinforced with steel to keep out water on
the top and bottom. We are also looking into smaller odds and
ends for upkeep, such as new paint jobs.
If you'd like to help out, consider adding or keeping Alpha
Delta in your yearly giving. Please note all gifts will be sent
directly to the AHC and will not be tax deductible. Checks
can be mailed to the address below; contact me with any
questions.

For another fun way to support the chapter, remember that
that bricks are always
available for purchase.
You, too, can have a
brick with your name
placed along the
front walk to 808
Richmond Avenue! If interested, please contact Christy
Woltzen Ehrenreich '74 at christyehren@gmail.com or
(636) 273-9665.
Thank you for your support as we ride out the remainder of
this storm. We can't wait to celebrate Gamma Phi with you
next year, and hopefully we'll be able to invite you to the
chapter house later this year!
