The Salvation Army is helping the Ford Motor Company distribute 1.3 million masks to people in need across Arizona. These are part of their 120 million masks for Americans. We are very grate- ful that Ford has put its trust in The Salvation Army to get these masks to our neighbors. The mask distribution is part of Ford's #FinishStrong initiative – a public call to action encouraging Americans to pull together, protect each other and help save lives in the months ahead until CO- VID-19 vaccines become more widely available. We have our Ford masks bagged and ready for distribution on starting March 2nd. Thanks vol- unteers Faye and Nancy for helping get these al- most 5000 masks we received packaged. We did give 960 to both QFD and QPD. THANKS Ford Motor Company Thanks to our amazing shoppers and doners, we presented to our Quartzsite Fire District a do- nation of $1500.00, from us and Henle Hazmat Training & Consulting, LLC. Thanks everyone for your generosity. We will continue this fund- raising project through March. Our Easter display is ready for your shopping en- joyment. Lots of eggs, baskets, and tons of fun Eas- ter decorations all priced to sell. Come in and see. Want to be a blond? We have a large fun dis- play of hairpieces and quality wigs. When we are closed, if there is something spe- cifi c you need, I can do a curbside sale. Please don't hesitate to call. We will remain on a three- day open schedule for shopping through March. Urgent Service Center needs are always obtain- able with a phone call. Thanks for your understanding and following our safety protocols of sanitizing and holding donation items on our porch area. Yes, masks are required when donations are accepted. Items need to be brought into the porch area, a box/ bag at a time. Donors are being asked if they can help with the sorting as we have a small receiving area. We are trying to take small donations at a time and not large truck loads. Special arrange- ments at times can be accommodated. Please call. We all appreciate your patience. Our amazing volunteers are processing donations as quickly as possible and practicing safety procedures. Please mask up at the sign before walking up the ramp. We will limit the number of shoppers when the store is overcrowded. Face coverings are required with nose and mouth covered, and we are doing the one camel six-foot safe distancing. Hand sanitizer is available around the store. We so appreciate your patience and compliance. We will all get through these times to- gether with patience and love for one another.
