ALUMNI UPDATE of Cincinnati. He worked most of his life as a photographer as well the founder of S.O.F.A. (Southern Ohio Film Makers Association). ALUMNI NEWS Bob Noll '53 graduated with an engineering degree in 1959 and joined a small engineering company in Baltimore, Md. He worked on aerospace projects for two years before being drafted into the U.S. Army, where he was assigned to the ballistic research lab in Aberdeen, Md. While there, he worked on the ENIAC computer, considered one of the first large computers. Bob was later hired as a civilian engineer at the Westinghouse Aerospace Division, where he worked for 38 years. He lives in Parkville, Md. Charles Wharton '53 is a retired pediatrician living in Peachtree City, Ga., where he enjoys golfing and reading. Email: chwharton@aol.com Matthew Diana '57 is still in good health and working. His son, Joe, is a Sigma Chi from the Embry-Riddle chapter and a retired Air Force colonel. Matt's passion is improving education for the economically disadvantaged. Email: mattdiana@yahoo.com Jay DeWitt '59 logged over 1,500 hours of volunteer service at the VA Hospital emergency room before the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Email: jaydewitt36@yahoo.com Paul Kollman '61 practiced internal medicine in Montgomery, Ohio, for 45 years before his retirement in 2017. He and his wife, Carita, have shared 58 years of marriage and have three children, seven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Paul and Carita enjoy traveling and playing a lot of bridge. They live in Montgomery, Ohio. Email: pvkcarita@gmail.com Frederick Scott '64 retired from Hospital Designers, a subsidiary of HBE Corporation, after 45 years of service. During his time as an architect there, he helped design and build over 2,000 healthcare and financial facilities throughout the United States. Email: fscottxhdi44@gmail.com Timothy Kute '67 is a retired pathology professor from Wake Forest University. He enjoys swimming and biking and has done triathlons with his daughter. Timothy has three children and four grandchildren. He sends his best to all the Sigma Chis, especially brothers from the late 1960s. Timothy lives in Winston Salem, N.C. Bill Kief '79 enjoys racing cars, working, traveling, and preparing for retirement. He lives in Cincinnati, Ohio. Email: threges21@gmail.com Erik Huber '09 was promoted to master sergeant (E7) on July 1, 2020, and is now a flight chief for the 23rd special operations weather squadron (SOWS) within Air Force Special Operations Command at Hurlburt Field, Fla. He and his wife, Katrina, celebrated the first birthday of their son, Odin, in August. They're hopeful that Odin will be a future Sig. Erik lives in Navarre, Fla.
