Buck, Southeast Missouri State '96 Executive Vice President jbuck@pikes.org Dear Brothers, On behalf of President Mark Dziatczak, Wayne State '91 and the entire Pi Kappa Alpha International Fraternity, we would like to congratulate the Beta Mu Chapter on 100 years of friendship on a firmer and more lasting basis. While we share in your regret in not being able to celebrate this tremendous milestone together, I know we all look forward to the day when we can do so in person while taking in the beautiful and inspiring new chapter house in Austin, Texas. The Beta Mu Chapter has long epitomized what it means to be a successful Pike. From its undergraduate membership and leadership to its involved and successful alumni, Beta Mu has been a symbol of strength for over 100 years. While Beta Mu was the 60th chapter chartered in Pi Kappa Alpha, it is one of only 16 that has remained in continuous operation for each of its first 100 years. Furthermore, it maintains the seventh most lifetime initiates in all of Pi Kappa Alpha. It is amazing to think, that for all that Pi Kappa Alpha has been through in over the past 100 years, the men of Beta Mu have been witness to it all and provided tremendous leadership throughout. The closing of Pi Kappa Alpha's Preamble states: "We have resolved to form a Fraternity, believing thus we can most successfully accomplish our object." I wish you all the sincerest of congratulations on 100 years of Beta Mu Chapter and continuing to accomplish our objective at The University of Texas.
