A Dallas native and University of Texas chemical engineering graduate, Jack enjoyed a lengthy career in forestry and paper products, largely in Arkansas. He served as a naval officer during World War II. As a lifelong tennis player, Jack received a tennis scholarship at Texas where he played in the late 1930s. He served on the Arkansas State Board of Education, several bank boards and the board of trucking giant JB Hunt. Jack will be missed by his loved ones and Pike brothers. Jack was a generous donor to our house campaign. John Carberry '66 entered Chapter Eternal on May 19. He was a graduate of Lorena High School where he excelled in all sports. While in high school, John was active in Boy Scouts and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. After graduating from the University of Texas, John had a successful sales career. He later moved to Waco to care for his aging parents where he pursued his love for scuba diving, opening Lake Air Scuba. Through his business, he led scuba trips and shared adventures with many people to different parts of the Caribbean. He split time between Texas and Cozumel, calling both home. With an infectious laugh and generous heart, John will be missed by all who loved him. Dr. David Gustafson '66 entered Chapter Eternal on January 23. David was born and raised in Austin, graduating from Gonzales High School in 1965; he was president of the student council and voted most likely to succeed by his peers. As a lifelong Longhorns fan, there was never a doubt in his mind where he would go to school. After graduating from the University of Texas in 1969, he went on to earn his DDS from the Baylor College of Dentistry in 1973. David owned and operated his own dental practice in Northwest Austin from then until his retirement. He was named Austin's Dentist of the Year multiple times throughout his career. David is predeceasd by his lovely wife Bonnie, whom he met at UT. She was a member of Chi Omega and a Pike Little Sister. He was a kind and true man who will be missed by his friends, family and Pike brothers. David was a generous donor to our house campaign. Todd Quisenberry '86 entered Chapter Eternal on June 29, 2019, in Lubbock. Todd graduated from the University of Texas in 1991 where he was actively involved with Pike and honored to be a member of the Texas Cowboys. He remained close to many members of both organizations throughout his adult life. Upon graduation, Todd moved to Washington, D.C., where he worked for the Cement Kiln Recycling Coalition. Todd later returned to Lubbock to join the family insurance agency, Quisenberry & Associates, where his customers often became dear friends. Many brothers attended his funeral. We offer our deepest condolences to Todd's family from everyone at Pike.
