ALPHA-PHI ZETA OF LAMBDA CHI ALPHA AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA FALL 2020 I t's difficult to put into words what Alpha-Phi Zeta has meant to so many brothers over the years. The values of Lambda Chi Alpha have propelled us in our careers, helped us raise our families, and made all of us better men after graduating from The University of Alabama. Life as we know it has changed due to COVID- 19, but the lessons we learned from Alpha-Phi Zeta are more important than ever. It's crucial that our undergraduate brothers and prospective new members have Lambda Chi as a platform to center their lives around during these unprecedented times. We launched the Securing Our Success campaign to ensure that Alpha-Phi Zeta prevails through the pandemic. The campaign is helping the House Corporation compensate for the financial shortfall created from refunds issued in the spring and by a reduced number of members living in the Chapter House this fall. Despite the challenges, we are proud of how our Chapter has handled this year. They recruited a strong associate member class of 37 bright young men. Additionally, we've had stellar alumni step up to the plate to help us weather this storm. Butch Camp, AΦ888 and Roy Gregg, AΦ881, along with House Director Becky Schuler, have done a tremendous job dealing with preparing the house for brothers to live-in during a pandemic and the unusual requirements that go with that. As these brothers have so generously given of their time, we are also beyond grateful for the brothers who have already collectively contributed $16,475 toward our $65,000 goal for this campaign. It is clear they are thankful for everything Lambda Chi has given them and they understand the impact our brotherhood can have on college-age men at UA for years to come.
