No reser vations required, but suggested for par ties of six or more. SPECIALTIES: The longtime No. 1 seller is the Chicken Tikka Masala, tender pieces of chicken baked in a tandoor oven and swimming in an aromatic tomato, cream and but ter sauce. All the curries are consistently excellent, including chicken, lamb, shrimp or vegetarian. The restaurant has won numerous awards for it s cuisine, and notably for Chef Kelly's vegetarian and vegan dishes. A favorite is the Saag Paneer, creamed spinach spiked with homemade cheese chunks and ser ved over Basmati rice. For all dishes, specif y mild, medium or hot. The spiciest is Vindaloo, guaranteed to make your taste buds howl. Good star ters, especially for mild-to -medium palates, include the Samosas (envision triangular turnovers stuf fed with diced potatoes and veggies) and Pakoras, t wo -bite orbs of fried chickpea dough with spinach, onion and corn, especially tast y when dipped into cilantro or tamarind chutneys or in a cooling yogur t sauce. PRICES & BE VER AGES: Appetizers star t at $3. Entrées range from $12 to $19, and desser t s are $3 to $4. An adventurous list of bot tled beers includes brews from India, Russia, Casablanca, Lebanon, Brazil, Montenegro and more locales, from $4 to $6 each. Chilean wines by the glass for $7; bot tle, $18. HOURS: Monday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4:30 to last order at 8:30 p.m. (closes at 9 p.m.). Closed on Sunday. Supremely fresh soft tacos, one of the most popular dishes. Faithful customers continue to flock to Bombay Bistro to order the dishes that got them hooked during the buffet days. e kitchen is still churning out the sweetest of aromas, turning the Indian art-filled restaurant into a sensory experience, whether we dine-in and social distance or go for takeout.
