B axter Hall Properties (BHP) was incorporated in 2012. We are now in our fourth year of tenancy with Roger Lantz Rentals, LLC. As most of you know, BHP is the lease signer in a lease with Lantz Rentals, LLC, and Zeta Chi Chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity is in a lease with Baxter Hall Properties, LLC. We are constantly learning how best to manage the chapter house to full occupancy while continuing to pay the monthly bills of both entities. e executive board of BHP is working closely with the chapter in establishing better financial policies to pay their monthly and semester obligations. We have expanded the house manager's use of a "house manager committee" to assist with his many responsibilities. e board is also considering an additional position to help sign leases in a timely manner, thus ensuring maximum occupancy every semester. BHP and the chapter are also funding an ever-growing "house fund" via the chapter's rent payment. Since our housing adventure started in 2016, we have consistently looked for ways to better our housing program on campus. In one year, we not only had one of the best housing programs in Pi Kappa Alpha, but received awards for it, including House Improvement Project of the Year. is should speak volumes! We have learned much from our beginning. It hasn't been easy, nor has it been without issues. However, we are constantly learning and growing to better our housing program. We are certainly headed in the right direction. We might not have the biggest house, nor do we have the newest house, however, we are making the most of the house on Elm Street. We look forward to the future and all it has to offer for brothers past, present, and future. Big things are to come for the men of Zeta Chi. In summary, all is going to plan, and Zeta Chi of Pi Kappa Alpha needs your support! Please do ALL you can do to support them by participating in alumni and chapter functions. If you have not jumped aboard this bandwagon yet, please do now—because, like the Firetruck, it FEELS good!
