The order went into effect Tuesday, March 31, at 5 p.m. and will last until April 30, unless it's extended. Ducey referred to his declaration as a "Stay Home, Stay Healthy, Stay Connected" order, saying it "promotes physical distancing, while also encouraging social connectedness." They were both tested due to exposure of positive COVID-19 cases in other states. As part of the ongo- ing disease investigation LPCHD will interview close contacts of the individuals and recommend each person monitor for symptoms and quarantine themselves for 14 days, based on risk of exposure. La Paz County declared a Procla- mation of Countywide Emergency on March 18th in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, allowing it to make appropriate orders, provide emergency resources, re- quest additional resources and re-
