We will be taking a spring break and be closed Tuesday, February 11th through Saturday February 15th.We thank you for your understanding. Come see our newest lap quilt and purchase a ticket/s to support our local QPD Explorers Post 928 Program. This is a beautiful hand- made quilt in a purple batik with large giraffes made by our Mrs. Roger AKA Barbara. We have many cellophane wrapped beautiful Valentine cards. These are absolutely beautiful greeting cards. We are still looking for a bike rack. We have so many shoppers that park their bikes out front and would like to provide a more secure area for them. Long time? Maybe never. This is your chance to remedy that oversight and have a great time dancing to the music of the Rock'T band. You're encour- aged to "dress in period" if you wish. Ladies, fl uff up your hair and get out your old poodle skirt. Men, it's time for "ducktails" and that laid back, oh so hip look. It's all for a good cause, too. This is the "Road Runners Sock-Hop Dance and Dinner Schol- arship Fundraiser". You can munch on hot dogs and hamburgers and slurp up root beer fl oats! Sounds like the good ole days, doesn't it? And they promise "entertainment" too. All this for only $10. The Sock-Hop Dance and Dinner takes place February 15 at 5 p.m. at the Quartzsite Improvement Asso- ciation. Don't be late!
