Rice Ranch QIA POW WOW EXIT 17 EXIT 19 BIG TENT N Quartzsite Shows & Swap Meets 2019 Copyright Desert Messenger IOLA RICHARDSON-LEE September 27, 1926 ~ December 31, 2019 Iola Richardson-Lee, 93, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, died Tues- day, Dec. 31, 2019 at a Lake Havasu care facility. Iola was born to John Edmund Barker and Teggie Harriet Ottley in Idaho Falls, Idaho on Sept. 27, 1926. She had three older sisters and one older brother who preceded her in death. Iola attended Jerome High School and graduated in May of 1944. After graduation Iola trav- eled to South Mills, North Carolina where she was married to Arthur Richardson on December 1, 1944. Arthur and Iola moved to Rich- field, Idaho where they farmed and started their family. In 1960, they moved to Twin Falls, Idaho and then to Portland, Oregon in 1969. There, Iola started working and lat- er retired from Techtronic's. After retirement, Arthur and Iola bought their first motor home in which they loved to travel and spend time with family. On March 23, 1991 Arthur Rich- ardson passed away and preceded her in death. Eleven years later Iola married Eugene Gerry Lee in Portland, Or- egon on June 13, 2002. Eugene and Iola continued to travel and lived in Quartzsite, Arizona. She enjoyed spending her time with family, friends, dancing, clowning and had a true love and talent for rock jew- elry. Iola is survived by her husband, Eugene Lee; son, Alva Richardson (Sherry Card Richardson); daugh- ter, Tamara Morgan (Albert Mor- gan); and son, Artie Richardson( Jennifer Kent). She had 14 grand- children, 45 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. She left behind a legacy of family, love and will be truly missed. She will be laid to rest next to her husband Arthur Richardson. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020 at Richfield Cemetery, Richfield, Idaho. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, 2020 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Lat- ter-day Saints Church, 455 Riggles Ave., Quartzsite, Arizona 85346. Ruch, Sr., passed away on January 7 2020 from complica- tions of Alzheimer's and a traumat- ic brain injury. Bob was born December 21 1934 to Reason and Mary Julia (Shi- manek) Ruch innMeteor Twp., Ex- eland Wi. Bob was a Korean War Veteran and drove tractor trailers for 51 1/2 years. Bob was married and divorced twice. He had 3 children by both wives and he outlived both of them. He is survived by his daughter Sandra (Mark) Carter of Wishram Wa., Tammy Ruch Knupp and fian- ce Rodrigo Lindemann of Dubuque Ia., and Robert J. (Margarite) Ruch of Platteville Wi. Six grandchildren, one step granddaughter and a great grand son. Also surviving is a broth- er Gerry (Robin) Ruch and a sister Marianne (Gerry) Ruele. Also, his wife Leslie H. Ruch formerly of Black River Falls Wi now residing in Quartzsite, Az. Bob is preceded in death by both parents, brothers Richard, Eugene and Kelly. Sisters Jeanette, Doris, Betty and Judy. I want to give special thanks to the Quartzsite Fire District, Crystal Loe- ber of Crystal's House in Lake Havasu City and River Valley Hospice. JACK WILLIAMS Jack Williams passed away on October 23, 2019 He was a long time resident of Quartzsite and immediate friend to everyone who had the great op- portunity and pleasure of meeting him. A memorial to honor his life was held January 11, 2020 at The Main Street Eatery in Quartzsite, AZ.
