The Curriculum
The MA in Environmental Policy 42-credit program can be completed within two
years of full-time study. We welcome for admission into the program students from a
variety of interests and backgrounds, including environmental studies, IT, business,
natural sciences, as well as political and social sciences. The Graduate Record
Examination (GRE) is not required.
The curriculum emphasizes classroom-based skill development, training in the practical
policy arts, and experiential learning through externships. The program culminates in a
capstone course and thesis or project that challenges you to use your newly acquired
skills in your chosen area of policy research and analysis.
By undertaking this curriculum, you will emerge practice-ready for the full range
of environmental policy professions.
Scholarship opportunities and competitive graduate assistantships are available
for qualified candidates.
Electives are available from across the University, including the Elisabeth Haub School of Law, the Lubin School
of Business, and the Dyson College Public Administration program.
