TOP IN GRADES, GREEK WEEK WINNERS, LARGEST FRATERNITY ON CAMPUS MO Alpha Begins Fall Semester Full of Accolades M issouri Alpha has been busy throughout the summer and the beginning of the fall semester. Our members continue to exemplify what it means to be a Phi in their academics, campus involvement, and commitment to Phi Delta Theta. Academic Excellence Missouri Alpha continued our outstanding academic record this past spring as we recorded a 3.46 GPA, ranking first among IFC fraternities on campus. Our new member class, the 15- man Delta class, recorded a 3.23 GPA. We look forward to maintaining this success this fall, as the chapter has become known for our consistent top academic placing, and we instill the importance of that consistency in our Phikeia. Greek Week Champions Phi Delta Theta experienced one of its most notable accomplishments since our refounding, winning Mizzou's Greek Week with our partner, Kappa Kappa Gamma. Our members worked immensely hard throughout the week in athletic events, a blood drive, service events, and even a skit and dance competition. To top it off, our own Parker Boron '19 won Greek Week King, voted on by Greek life members. Welcome, Phikeias Mizzou changed their recruitment schedule this year, opting to hold the formal recruitment process right before the beginning of the semester. Recruitment Chairmen August Windau '21 and Cole Halcomb '21 spearheaded a fantastic process that led to 43 Phikeias, all of whom we believe have the potential to become extraordinary Phis. Our chapter stands as one of the largest fraternities on campus, with a stronger brotherhood than ever.
