A: My favorite memory of Missouri Alpha is the friendships I developed at the time with guys my age and both older and younger Phis. Q: Were there any alumni or brothers who made a strong impact on you? A: Many pledge brothers made an impact on me but to try and single one or two out would be very hard to do. Q: How is your life different because of Phi Delta Theta? A: My life is different because of the many close friends I met and continue to be close with today. Even though we are separated by where we live and all of us are busy with our own lives, it is still a bond that is as strong today as it was 30 years ago. A few years ago I was diagnosed with a blood cancer. My wife and I were immediately overwhelmed with the amount of support we received from our friends. A big part of that was the support from my Phi Delt brothers. Many of them I had not heard from in years and we picked up right where we left off. Not only were these guys from my pledge class but a lot from guys 2-3 years older and younger than me. They helped me get through one of the toughest times of my life. Q: Tell me about your career. A: I have been in sales my entire career. I work for a company named Henry Schein Dental. We are the world's largest dental equipment and supply distributor. The last 20 have been in capital equipment and technology in the dental industry. I recently took a role as regional manager for Henry Schein Kansas/Missouri. Q: Do you keep in touch with your brothers from Missouri Alpha? A: Yes, I keep in touch with many of them. Most of the time at football and basketball games but also locally in Kansas City we have several brothers that get together often. Q: Tell me about your family. A: My wife's name is Gina and we have been married 18 years. We have two boys, Luke (14) and Max (10). Q: How do you spend your free time? A: In spare time I like to golf (very poorly I might add). In the summer we love going to the lake. Kevin lives in Kansas City, Mo., and can be reached at kcmutigers@yahoo.com. Q&A with Kevin Crawford '92 Potential new members gather at the house during fall 2019 formal recruitment.
