The two people in the pick-up, driver Richard Charles Will, 83, of Salome and passenger Tina Y. Will, 58, also of Salome, were killed in the crash. Both were volunteers at The Salvation Army of Quartzsite. According to Lee-Ann Henle, Man- ager of The Salvation Army, "It's been a diffi cult week. Their families and friends are in our thoughts and prayers as we all grieve this loss." The accident occurred at approxi- mately 11:35 p.m. Arizona Depart- ment of Public Safety spokesman Bart Graves said the Ford pick-up was traveling south when it crossed the center line and collided head- on with a Volvo commercial truck that was headed north. The Volvo came to rest blocking the south- bound lane. The highway was closed for several hours for the investigation and so debris could be removed. Graves said the driver and passen- ger in the Volvo truck were unin- jured. The cause of the accident is under investigation. FREE CLASSIFIEDS Desert Messenger offers FREE Classifi ed Ads!
