THETA DELTA DRAGON Page 2 F or the second consecutive year, Theta Delta received the Excellence in Risk Management award at the 180th General Convention. This award recognizes chapters with outstanding risk management programs that best reflect the mission, vision, and values of Beta Theta Pi. To receive the award for the second year in a row is a true celebration of Theta Delta's hard work and dedication to live by Beta Theta Pi's core values. "We have every brother to thank for this recognition, as it takes the entire Chapter to act responsibly, weighing the consequences of their actions on themselves and those around them. Betas preserve their character by doing what is morally right and demanding the same from their brothers. These values of responsible conduct and integrity are strong through Theta Delta Chapter, as this award shows. "The members of the Theta Delta Chapter are always looking to do what is right. Changing the stereotypes around Greek life is one of our goals and we strive to do that in ways other than just risk management," said Chapter President Tommy Weber '20. Now more than ever, it is important to maintain a safe and honest environment for our brotherhood. It is inspiring to see these young men realize the importance of this and accomplish a risk management program that reflects our Beta values and holds every brother accountable. With continued support and dedicated men upholding our Beta Theta Pi values, there is no doubt Theta Delta can remain successful for generations to come.
