No matter how you choose to make your gift, your support of Delta Chi provides exceptional opportunities for leadership development and education during the formative undergraduate years. Make a contribution now to be sure 2019-20 is a successful academic year for our members and chapters. Show Your Support for Delta Chi Today A Delta Chi Man of Character Tom Raad, South Florida '07, Strengthens Delta Chi Brotherhood www.dcef.com • www.facebook.com/DeltaChiFraternity T om Raad, South Florida '07, is the Owner of Lair Services, Inc. (LSI) in Tampa, Florida. His company, a technology managed services provider, is climbing the charts under his leadership, racking up accolades over the past year, that include University of South Florida Fast 56 (five consecutive years), a 40 Under 40 Award winner, and a Tampa Bay Business Journal Fast 50 award. Raad served as "A" of the USF Chapter, leading to a President's Cup. As an alumnus, he served as the house corporation president. His commitment to USF and its alumni association is further dignified by him being an Iron Bull. Raad is a family man, married to Candace (USF alumna) with two children: Hailey (5) and Patrick (2). He's an avid golfer and participates regularly in local charity events. He's been a team sponsor of the Delta Chi Scholarship Golf Classic for many years. In the spring of 2018, Raad became a donor of DCEF's Trustee Society. In the fall of 2018, the South Florida Chapter closed. Raad credits "BB" Ben Dundas, South Florida '09, and Jason Littlejohn, South Florida '02, for stepping up to assume the responsibility of closing the chapter house; ensuring university requirements were met for Delta Chi's eventual return. An unpopular but necessary role that had to be played, and Raad is extremely thankful for their commitment; which speaks to the bond developed among them. Not only did Raad renew his gift in 2019, but he stepped up to the Flat Hat Society; only 10 donors made this commitment in 2018. Raad is now one of DCEF's Top 400 donors of all time. "Doubling-down the way he did to continue supporting Delta Chi in the face of adversity, and with a smile on his face, really speaks to the lifetime commitment Raad takes seriously to promote and strengthen Delta Chi," Director of Development Peter Lane, Georgia Southern '07, said. Thank you, Tom Raad, for setting an extraordinary example of what it means to be a Delta Chi Fraternity man. Raad says, "Joining Delta Chi as an undergrad, laid the foundation for a network that has helped influence my adult life. Giving to DCEF is just one way I am able to give back, for all that Delta Chi has done for me."
