A job, parenting, taking care of the
house, pets, cooking, commuting. A
typical American lifestyle leaves little time
for exercise. Scheduling the recommended
75-150 minutes of activity a week, plus
two muscle-strengthening sessions
definitely takes some creativity.
The good news: research has
indicated that shorter periods of exercise
count towards your weekly total. And,
technology has greatly expanded our
options when it comes to fitness. Thanks
to apps, online programs, YouTube videos
and fitness trackers, you can exercise at
home or on the go and monitor your
progress too. No packing a bag or rushing
to make it to a class. Apple Watch even
has a wheelchair exercise-tracking feature.
