Volunteers and employees of Playground Safety Services will prepare the community build site at the Boys & Girls Club for the playground on Thursday and Friday. March 1, Friday afternoon and Saturday morning, March 2, nine different groups will volunteer their time to build the playground. Included in the project are students from Burns High School Future Farmers of America Chapter, Crest High School Key Club, members of the Shelby Kiwanis Club, employees from the Clearwater Paper plant, officers from the Shelby Police Department and the Cleveland County Sheriff's office, as well as nieces and nephews of Joe and Sophia Goforth and Board members from the Boys & Girls Club.
