Though the program experienced budget cuts, Angela has still continued on and volunteers at the Front Desk along with many other tasks, such as helping with blood pressure and blood sugar screenings and serving as a Cashier during lunch and sometimes with Monday Night Bingo. Angela, you have been such a huge help keeping us organized, keeping all of our participants updated and informed, and helping with training new Front Desk Volunteers. I will be going over the many events and activities that will require the support of volunteers. There is a lot going on with SilverArts and Senior Games quickly approaching. We are in need of extra help in in order for these events to run smoothly and to be a success. Please let me know if you are willing and available to help with Senior Games April 15th ��� 19th and/or with the SilverArts Intake/ Display Set up on March 11th and data entry with Senior Games prior to April 4th, which is the Senior Games entry deadline. April will soon be here and April is Volunteer Appreciation month! The Neal Senior Center will be honoring our volunteers on Friday, April 5, 2012. We will be having a lunch and awards to follow.
