I transplanted it into bigger pots as it grew larger. Still no blooms. The cactus grew so big, I had no more nice pots to put it in. I did have this one ceramic pot that was broken. The rim was broken off of it and it was rather plain���just a brick color. But I decided to transplant the cactus in it anyway. Well, on the fourth Christmas the cactus bloomed. Flowers decorated its arms everywhere, cascading over its pot, and covering the broken rim. It may take a while sometimes, but beauty does grow within all of us. And that inner beauty is more important than our outer brokenness.
