I think everyone should know that our Quartzsite Police Department is on the job....24-7! I happened to be up walking the fl oor at 3am and I noticed a slow moving car on my street. CHS can assist homeless persons with basic necessities of life utilizing local services. As an active partner in La Paz County Continuum of Care, and a homeless crisis service provider, CHS will be referring homeless individuals for Rapid Re-Housing assessment and eligibility determi- nation. Susan Harris, CHS Outreach Case Manager, will be in Quartzsite every 3rd Thursday from 9am-Noon at the Quartzite Food Bank, located at 400 N. Moon Mountain. The program helps children discover the fun in learning. This year's dates are June 10th through July 27. Every week there will be a new themed ad- venture with topics including Bugs, Mars, Geology, Beach Fun, Mythical Creatures, Harry Potter, and Create A Museum.
