LOCAL SUPPORT
To complete this project as envisioned, the Delta Chi House
Corporation has committed to assisting the project. Using existing
funds and assets, the corporation plans to donate up to $200,000
toward the purchase of the property by utilizing the equity in the
Grandview house. Furthermore, the board will be looking into
outside financing options for additional funds.
OUR CONCEPTUAL VISION
We have enlisted the assistance of our own Kansas State brother,
Jeff Schutzler '96 at Hollis + Miller Architects, to design
conceptual renderings of an apartment-style suite and common
space. Hearing from alumni and undergraduates, adding
common space in the final plans will need to be a
top priority. Once a property is acquired,
the house corporation will evaluate
and finalize the floor plans and
renderings.
