W hat would your life look like if you had never been a member of Alpha Gamma Rho? Alpha Gamma is a place where many of us made our best friends, met men who later influenced our careers, and shaped our collegiate expe- rience. When we joined Alpha Gamma Rho, it changed our lives for the better. e power of Alpha Gamma Rho cannot be denied. Few among us can say we weren't impacted in some way by our great fraternity. It is for this reason that we seek to provide the same experience for today's young men through the Honoring Our Past, Building Our Future: e Campaign for a New Chapter House. Building a modern, functional chapter house secures our place on the University of Florida campus for decades to come. It ensures future Alpha Gammas will have a place to call home and have the same transformative experience we did. Our campaign board is hard at work securing the necessary construc- tion documents for the University of Florida to review. is includes meeting with several committees: parking and transportation, land- scaping, historic, and land use. We've received approval from all these committees, and we look forward to sharing further updates on our construction plans soon! rough your generosity, we have reached $2.4 million raised toward our $3.5 million campaign goal. is is a huge accomplishment, but there is still $1.1 million more that must be raised. We know that there are many causes and initiatives worthy of your support, but we're ask- ing you to reinvest in the commitment you made to Alpha Gamma Rho upon initiation and make a gi to the campaign today. We encourage you to take the enclosed pledge form and make a multi- year pledge or one-time gi (those contributing $2,500 or more will have their names displayed on our permanent donor plaque displayed in the new house), or donate online at For those looking for a tax-deductible giving option, you can make your contribution through the Alpha Gamma Rho Foundation: https:// is campaign is about more than money, it's about fostering broth- erhood. Our chapter has existed for nearly a century; your gi will guarantee it endures for another 100 years. Fraternally, W. Bernard Lester '58, Campaign Co-Chairman Edward Smoak '68, Campaign Co-Chairman Adam Putnam '92, Campaign Co-Chairman Dr. Jimmy G. Cheek '93, Honorary Campaign Chairman e old chapter house is torn down, but we are eager to share our progress as construction begins!
