Charles Shackelford '55 and his wife, Peggy, live
on a farm in Wauchula, Fla. ey spend summers
in Highland, N.C., and Charles loves to travel in-
ternationally. He recalls his trips to South Africa
(1982), London (2001), and Scotland (2002). You

A. Lewis Ward '66 now has six grandchildren. He
was recognized in e Texas Lawyer as one of the
best 100 lawyers in Texas in 2016. Stay in touch

W. O. Whittle '66 is enjoying life at age 92 by
boating and fishing on weekends. He lives on
Lake Talquin near Quincy, Fla.
Robert C. Brannan III '84 was sworn in on No-
vember 20, 2018, as Florida's 10th District for

Kirby Johnson '86 retired from the Navy in 2006.
He was an air traffic controller for 20 years and
is now a program manager at Scientific Research
Corporation in Charleston, S.C. Keep in contact

Terry D. Sapp '87 recently accepted a new posi-
tion aer serving 17 years at Pedro Menendez as
the dean of students and then the athletic direc-
tor. Terry now serves the St. Johns County School
District as coordinator of school services. Terry
and his wife, Dawn, have been married for 27
years and have two children, Kaycee (25) and Will
(22); Will is a student at UF. Stay in touch with

James Hayes '97 is thankful for the time he had
in AGR serving as the house manager, vice no-
ble ruler of operations and management, and
noble ruler. e knowledge and skills he learned
have made him a better man, and he cannot say
thank you enough for it. James looks forward to
the building of a new, upgraded fraternity house.

Scott Johnson '03 had his first child on August
15, 2017, named Grady Scott Johnson. Scott is
a district sales manager for Mid-Atlantic and

Bernie LeFils '07 and his wife, Avery, have been
awarded the College of Agricultural and Life
Sciences Horizon Award. e pair are avid vol-
unteers for the College of Agricultural and Life
Sciences (CALS) and serve on the CALS alumni
and friends board of directors. Bernie also serves
as the treasurer for the Alpha Gamma Rho frater-
