Kirby Johnson '86 retired from the Navy in 2006. He was an air traffic controller for 20 years and is now a program manager at Scientific Research Corporation in Charleston, S.C. Sapp '87 recently accepted a new posi- tion aer serving 17 years at Pedro Menendez as the dean of students and then the athletic direc- tor. Terry now serves the St. Johns County School District as coordinator of school services. James Hayes '97 is thankful for the time he had in AGR serving as the house manager, vice no- ble ruler of operations and management, and noble ruler. e knowledge and skills he learned have made him a better man, and he cannot say thank you enough for it. Bernie LeFils '07 and his wife, Avery, have been awarded the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences Horizon Award. e pair are avid vol- unteers for the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences (CALS) and serve on the CALS alumni and friends board of directors.
