48 | SPRING 2019 Newly redesigned website A two-year vision to redesign the American Airlines Federal Credit Union website has fi nally come to fruition and the results are, well, beautiful. After receiving scores of input from focus groups and product specialists, the Credit Union took in the many suggestions, wishes, advice and best practices then worked with web design fi rm Rightpoint to create a web experience that was more contemporary, user- friendly and mobile-device responsive. In addition to the overall makeover, the site features a number of other improvements, in- cluding an enhanced search feature, improved seminar and event sign-up functions, a more in- tuitive navigation menu and a newly relocated online banking log-in button, now located on the upper right side — mirroring most online sites. In addition, members might notice some new content integrated into the site. A blog will feature resources and articles to help mem- bers meet their fi nancial goals (including some familiar pieces from ®). Other sections will highlight insightful quotes and profi les of mem- bers from across the country. For the Credit Union's regular mobile and on- line banking users, apart from the log-in loca- tion, everything stays the same. Accessing your account information, applying for loans and taking advantage of the many tools and services available online will remain unchanged. "All of these improvements are designed to make using the site more intuitive and inviting," says Lori Reeves, VP of Marketing and Business Development at the Credit Union. "Members will be able to quickly fi nd what they are looking for and also discover new ways to help improve their fi nancial well-being." The website has not gone through a thor- ough redesign for nearly a decade and while many of the changes are largely cosmetic, site visitors will defi nitely be struck by the improved look, feel, functionality and, ultimately, member experience.
