G ood news: We have good men doing good work. With nearly 100 members per year, Epsilon Omicron has significantly outpaced the men's grade-point average at Oklahoma State in recent years (ATW average: 3.24, campus men's average: 2.82). In that same time frame, our Chapter members and leaders also have been honored with: • Recognized as a True Merit recipient eight times in the last 10 years, and 18 times total in the history of Epsilon Omicron (1981, 1982, 1984, 1985, 1986, 2001, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2018). • Received second consecutive "Good Samaritan Award" from the National Fraternity recognizing our commitment to service in the Stillwater community. Bad news: Our old house puts our leadership at risk. As you know, our Chapter House is the focal point of ATW fraternity life at Oklahoma State. But, as you also may know, our house was built before the Great Depression. While it's been updated from time to time to meet the needs of each new generation, you've likely lived through water leaks, foundation cracks, peeling paint and more. Keeping our house up to contemporary codes, safety standards, and student expectations is a pricey proposition—one that's growing pricier every year. Keeping up with the competition. What's more, for ATW to recruit the best-possible members to our brotherhood, our facilities must be competitive. Yet, others have jumped ahead: • Over the past 10 years, Oklahoma State has made significant investments in its on-campus facilities. • In response, our peer fraternities have mirrored university upgrades. Since 2008, Alpha Gamma Rho, Beta eta Pi, Delta Tau Delta, FarmHouse, Lambda Chi Alpha, Phi Gamma Delta, Pi Kappa Alpha, Sigma Chi, and Sigma Phi Epsilon have all made major improvements to their chapter houses. If we want to recruit top-quality men, we need to offer quality facilities. Strong Chapter, Struggling Facility "Life is not static and neither is the Greek system at OSU. There is a huge building boom going on among Greek houses at OSU and ΑΤΩ has one of the oldest structures on campus. Our undergraduates are doing an outstanding job and it is imperative that alumni recognize the great contribution that ΑΤΩ made in our lives and pay it forward." – David Ratcliff '83
