We are all blessed in one way or the other, and need to help those coming up behind us," he believes. The growth Alan experienced as a member of Alpha Chi provided all the motivation he need- ed to support the Embracing Your Alpha Chi Legacy campaign. Backing the development of a new chapter house, he trusts, will "help provide stability and growth for the chapter." And he hopes all of the brothers feel the same way. "We all have commitments and financial obligations. We all have constant requests for finan- cial contributions. But each one of us can and should make the effort to give something to the campaign. It might be tough, but we all should remember the times we shared and what the fraternity meant and still means to us. The generations before us made sacrifices so that we could benefit from the fraternity experience, move forward and prosper, and now it's our turn to give back." After college, Alan was a car dealer in Jackson for 36 years. He sold his company in May of 2016. He and his wife, Karen, enjoy spending a lot of time on their boat, including three months every year in Key West. They also enjoy fishing and entertaining. And of course, spending time with their two grandsons, Jackson and Bennett. You can connect with Alan at haw@howardwilson.com. Alan Wilson '77 Supports Alpha Chi's Future (Continued from page 1)
