Their support, guidance and input has helped make your Chamber better every year! We also thank our Chairman for 2017- 18 Jim Grafstrom of Spectra Venue Management. Jerome Scott "The Insurance Guy" will take over as Chairman of the Board in January, with a new Executive Committee: Bill Hedgepeth of Select Bank as Treasurer; Bill Pannhoff of B&B Catering as Chair-elect; and Gary Rogers of Beasley Media as Secretary; and Jim Grafstrom, who will serve in 2019 as our Immediate Past Chairman. Let's meet our incoming Board Members: Tammy Thurman, Piedmont Natural Gas Tammy S. Thurman began her career in the natural gas industry in 2003 in Fayetteville North Carolina. During her 15-year tenure in the industry, she has held numerous positions and is currently responsible for the community relations and local government for all of eastern North Carolina for Piedmont Natural Gas. Tammy develops partnerships with key community stakeholders, manages key relationships with elected and appointed community groups to provide effective communication enhancing the company's ability to achieve its strategic goals as well as all philanthropic contributions for eastern North Carolina. Lisa Geddie, United Coldwell Advantage Lisa Geddie is the current President of the Long Leaf Pines Association of Realtors and General Manager for Coldwell Banker Advantage overseeing 3 offices. She also serves as the liaison representative for Fayetteville to the Coldwell Banker Advantage large office group that serves the rest of the Carolinas and South Carolina. Derrick Cassidy, Hendrick Chrysler Jeep Derrick Cassidy is the General Sales Manager of Hendrick Chrysler Jeep. He has been in the automotive industry since 2007 when he began work for Rick Hendrick Toyota before transferring to Hendrick Chrysler Jeep in 2011. Prior to this, Mr. Cassidy worked at Kelly & Kelly Investments for over nine years. Born in Fayetteville, Derrick is married with one daughter. Dr. J. Lee Brown III, Fayetteville State University Dr. J. Lee Brown III is the Dean of the Broadwell College of Business and Economics at Fayetteville State University. He earned his Ph.D. in Strategic Management and International Business at the Strome College of Business at Old Dominion University. His scholarly work has been published in Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, the Journal of International Business Studies, and Health Information and Technology. Dr. Brown's previous business experience includes 14 years at multiple levels of management, in roles such as product manager, regional manager, and brand manager for Fortune 500 companies.
