Psi Chapter of Sigma Chi at the University of Virginia P.O. Box 442100 Lawrence, KS 66044-2100 Address Service Requested Psi Chapter Stays Involved on and off Grounds Brothers Maintain Academic and Philanthropic Excellence T his semester, the Brothers of the Psi Chapter of Sigma Chi have stayed active in numerous student organizations across Grounds while maintaining our commitment to academic excellence. Over a dozen Psis commit five or more hours a week to community service through the Madison House programs. One of our Brothers, Matthew Hecker '19, is the President of OneGoal, a philanthropy that donates athletic equipment to impoverished villages in Honduras and Mexico. Psis have also been excelling in athletics, with Grayson Bubrosky '19 being named captain of the squash team and competing against nationally- ranked competition alongside his brother, Killian. This semester, seven Psi Brothers are playing on the club lacrosse team, which is the reigning club lacrosse national champion. In intramural sports, the Psi Chapter hopes to extend our winning form with a repeat championship in flag football and a "three-peat" in basketball. As a fraternity, we are continuing our commitment to the UVA Children's Hospital in preparation for our annual Derby Days philanthropy. This semester, we are making a number of improvements to the philanthropy that we believe will substantially increase participation and donation numbers. We hope these changes will help us reach our goal of $30,000 raised for the Children's Hospital next semester. In the meantime, we will be visiting the Children's Hospital and spending time with some of the Miracle Kids at Jump Cville. We are proud of the accomplishments and contributions that each of our active Brothers has made to our Brotherhood, and we expect to sustain a high standard of excellence in the classroom and in the community. We thank you for your support, efforts, and contributions that help make the Psi Chapter a lifelong Brotherhood.
