Our guest speaker for the Alumni Leadership Forum will be Gary Chensoff '74, president and CEO of Indian Hill Partners, Inc. Brother Chensoff graduated from Miami with a degree in economics and a law degree from Boston University. Gary initially practiced law before getting into commercial real estate in Chicago with JMB Realty. In 1991. Gary founded Indian Hill Partners, a very successful real estate development company based in Naples, Fl., and is the owner of Calusa Pines Golf club, ranked as third top-rated golf course in all of Florida. His remarks focused on the challenges of undergrad- uates, highlighting the trend of smartphone use and increased mental health issues of students entering campus. A partial antidote to these is- sues is exactly what Beta Theta Pi embodies, the development of meaningful, lasting relationships with brothers. Jud also gave a stern message and sobering challenge that he did not believe to be hyperbole. "When Alpha is strong, Beta is strong. When Beta is strong, fraternities are strong and we need the support of everyone to make this chapter truly live the motto, 'Lasting for an Age.'" Our Work Is Not Done Although our house is complete, the campaign for Alpha Chapter is not over. To date, we have raised $3,852,289 toward our fundraising goal of $4 million. We must ensure we meet and exceed our goal to help pay down our bank loan and position Alpha Chapter for a financially secure future. Please ask yourself what impact Beta Theta Pi has had upon your life and return your gift today using the enclosed envelope.
