Beta Phi Crier beta phi Chapter of Delta Tau Delta the ohio state university n fall 2018 O ver the past year, our House Corporation board and capital campaign board have been working together to ensure that Beta Phi has many bright decades ahead. While you didn't hear from us in the spring, our diligence and dedication to Beta Phi has not wavered. Now that we are so close to reaching our campaign goal, now is the time for us to give it all we've got—and the campaign board is doing just that. We believe we're in an even better position than we were a year ago, even despite the brief pause in our fundraising efforts. However, we also need the backing from you, our alumni, to finish the job we started. Alumni Support Needed to Reach Goal With the continued support of our entire alumni base (over 1,000 strong) over the next two years, we are confident we can reach our $2 million goal. This will enable us to reduce debt and thereby keep our chapter rent competitive. This will allow us to recruit OSU's best, reflect our rich history, and be the cornerstone of our organization for the next 100 years and beyond. It's time to think back on your first days on the OSU campus, the choice to join Delta Tau Delta, and how you grew into a man, learned vital skills for success, and gained friendships that have lasted to this day. Has Delta Tau Delta positively contributed to the life you have now? If the answer is yes, I can bet you want to ensure that the very opportunity you had is still around in the years to come. I know I do. So far, we've raised $1,695,951 in total contributions to date, so while we're almost there, we need your support to achieve our goal more than ever. It's this phase of the campaign that counts the most—we cannot stop now. The very foundation of the campaign rests on us, as alumni, giving back the place that gave us so much. This is what it means to be a Beta Phi. How Can You Help? Beta Phi's success would not be possible without the immense and broad support of our loyal alumni. We are extremely grateful for that. For us to continue enriching the lives of future young men at OSU, we ask that you consider supporting Beta Phi: A Doorway of Opportunity campaign. This crucial project will safeguard Beta Phi's future, and if you have already given, we encourage you to reach out to a brother who has yet to contribute. We also want to remind you that upon completion of our campaign we will have a permanent plaque hung in the main chapter room displaying all the names of our donors who pledged $2,500 or more, over the course of a five-year period (just $500 per year). That's less than $50 per month— less than the cost of your daily $3 coffee. Finally, we want to thank you for your ongoing support over the last few months.
