The Masquerade Ball sponsored by the Cleveland Healthcare Foundation will be held from 8 p.m. to midnight. Tickets are $30 per person. 100 per cent of the money will be given to the "Because We Care" program which will help those in need of funds who deal with cancer every day. The event is a call upon the community to help change the lives of those suffering from the dreaded disease. Included in the event will be a silent auction and dances for special prizes. Trendsetters will be on location offering facial paintings for guests. Co-Ordinator and Patient Navigator, LaTonia Hopper said: "I know without this "Because We Care" fund, patients would not have any hope and some would just give up. When you need money for medications, perhaps an electric bill, or even rent, it is very hard to survive in such a depressing atmosphere." "Because We Care" was founded to offer hope and to give cancer victims a chance. LaTonia Hopper, MSW, RN, BSN as an originator, is dedicated to this great program. It is an outgrowth of her commitment and concern. Both her grandparents have cancer and one has already passed away. Just this past week, her mother-in-law was diagnosed with breast cancer. The list goes on and on. Executive Director of the Cleveland Healthcare Foundation cannot say enough good things about the program. It Dotty Leatherwood , Vice President of the Community Outreach program has already helped so many cancer victims. Most survivors who and Executive Director of the Cleveland Healthcare Foundation looks over the plans for The Masquerade Ball with LaTonia Hopper, "Because have been given help will tell you that they could not have done it We Care" coordinator. or made it without "Because We Care". This most deserving program needs your support. The Masquerade Ball is one way that you can have a double reward; a great and entertaining evening and a wonderful way to reach out and help someone with cancer..
