This is a group of ladies who are caregivers or have caregivers. This program gives them an opportunity to have social activity. Activities are planned each week for them to participant in. PREPARATION TIME The Council on Aging/Neal Senior Center will once again provide free, tax preparation service at the Council on Aging/Neal Senior Center , 100 T. R. Harris Dr. Shelby. Call Today to schedule an appointment, this time will be reserved for you or walk-ins are also welcome and will be seen as time allows 704-482-3488 February 5, 2013- April 15, 2013 9:00am to 4:00pm Tuesday- Wednesday and Thursday SERVICES OFFERED 1) Free income tax preparation 2) Free printing (client copy) 3) Free e filing (government copy) For basic U.S. and N.C. /S.C. returns These documents are required information to complete your taxes. ----- A Picture I.D. ----- Social Security Card for all names on tax form (Not a copy) ----- Last year's Tax Return ----- All W-2 forms - Interest statements…etc. Everyone on your tax form must present a social security card (ss card for both husband and wife if filing joint return - along with any depenedents claimed) at time taxes are being completed. REMINDER - SilverArts/Senior Games Kick-Off Cleveland County SilverArts/Senior Games wants YOU! If you are a first time, returning or interested participant, please join us for the 2013 SilverArts/Senior Games Kick-off on Friday, February 1, 2013 at 11:30 a.m. We will provide attendees with a brief overview of both programs and highlight some of the changes and very important information. Lunch will be provided and participants will have the opportunity to engage in sporting activities for fun! All participants are asked to confirm their attendance by calling the Council on Aging/ Neal Senior Center Front Desk at (704) 482-3488 by Monday, January 28th. MONDAY NIGHT Volunteers are a vital part of everything that happens at the Neal Senior Center. Our dedicated volunteers enable us to offer more activities and services to seniors throughout Cleveland County. Volunteering is also a great way to make new friends and renew old acquaintances. Volunteering can also keep you active and involved. At the Senior Center, we have many volunteer options including the following: Income Tax Receptionist: Welcome customers as they come in, have them sign in and fill out paperwork. Need volunteers for Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 9am until 4pm. Monday Night Bingo: Need help with floor sales, food and beverage preparation. Maintenance: Sweeping, mopping, & basic cleaning. Instructors: Need an Aerobic and a Sit For Fitness Instructor on Mondays from 10am – 12pm.
