o you know that in 2019, Georgia Alpha will celebrate
80 years of Pi Beta Phi at UGA? Since we received
our charter on February 4, 1939, we have shared eight
decades of memories we all hold so dear.
To start the celebration of our heritage, the Chapter House
Corporation is sharing Memories on Milledge photos we
found in the chapter's old scrapbooks. The quality may not
be great, but the memories certainly are! For alumnae, Pi Phi
holds wonderful memories. For our 78 New Members and our
250-plus initiated members, Pi Phi holds a wonderful, lifelong

As you saw on the form you received in August, CHC wants
to see your Pi Beta Phi photos. Participate in our "Picture
This" challenge to honor our past and to let the chapter know
what Georgia Alpha looked like during your time at UGA.
Post your favorite photos from your Pi Phi days on our
Facebook page (@piphimemories). Get your Pi Phi
friends to give your photo the most "likes" and you will
be a winner! A donation will be made in your name to the
Georgia Alpha CHIP.
We challenge the decade classes to do the same. For example,
if you were a Pi Phi in the '80s, get your decade to post
memories, and the one decade that has the most posts and
likes will also receive a CHIP donation as well as a special
write-up in our newsletter and emails.
Celebrate our heritage by sharing your Pi Phi heritage.
