We consistently have one of the highest GPAs of all the Panhellenic sororities on campus and take great pride in our academic programming. We have mandatory study hours for our members and offer a large portfolio of scholastic support for all our sisters. We encourage our members to be involved in organizations outside of Kappa Delta and hold leadership positions on campus. I personally dedicate most of my time outside of Kappa Delta to a local animal shelter, Austin Pets Alive, where I am a medical volunteer. We also have Kappa Deltas involved in Texas Orange Jackets, Student Government, Texas 4000, and many other pre-professional and service-based organizations. Most of all, we strive to instill confidence in each other and everyone around us. We truly are a loving and encouraging sisterhood. This sisterhood has served as a backbone to my many college experiences, and I could not be more grateful to be a Kappa Delta sister. Serving as VP operations last year and now as chapter president has allowed me to see again and again how the amazing sisters in this chapter can change our world with their ambition, strength, and compassion.
