DELTA CHI page 2 fighter pilot, I was going to fly fighter planes." After a few more years of hard work as a WSO, he applied and was selected for pilot training. Following his training, Bill was selected as an F-15E pilot. Eight weeks later, he met his now wife, Rachel, who was beginning her career as a WSO. They have been married one year this August. "I've loved my experience in the Air Force. I've got to work alongside the best, motivated and professional people in the world. We travel around the world as brothers and every day is a new challenge. ROTC and Delta Chi laid the foundation of leadership and determination to succeed." For Bill, his goal of seeing the world has certainly been accomplished. He and Rachel are in the same squadron and are currently stationed at Royal Air Force Lakenheath, United Kingdom. "My wife is Capt. Rachel "Scream" Cornelius and I am Maj. William "RAVE" Cornelius from the 494th Black Panthers squadron." They are currently deployed to the Middle East together and he admits that, "this has been the best squadron I have ever been in. We fly jets during the week and travel Europe on the weekends." Noyes '73, age 66, of Sarasota, Fla., entered Chapter Eternal on April 13 in New York, N.Y. He was born June 15, 1951, in Salina, Kan., to Loren L. and Eva A. Noyes. Larry graduated from KSU in 1973. After decades of successful insurance agency ownership, his business ventures took him from Toronto to Wall Street in the Financial District, where he was president of Foresters Financial Services, Inc., in Manhattan, N.Y. Larry was a member of the Founders Golf Club in Florida, where he enjoyed playing golf in his spare time. He also liked boating and, above all, spending time with his family. Larry was a man of great integrity who always tried to do the right thing. He was generous, kind, and a remarkable businessman. Alumni News H. Allen Roes '67 and his wife, Jane, celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary in 2017. They live half of the year at their condo on Lake Norman, N.C., where they love to fish.
