A LIFETIME OF BROTHERHOOD Y ou are the only one who can place a value on your Lambda Chi Alpha membership—the lifelong friendships you made, the development of your values and principles, and the many ways the fraternity enhanced your college years. Your participation is absolutely vital to the success of our fraternity. Because of the magnitude of our objectives, we are urging all alumni to consider major gis to the campaign. In order for each alumnus to maximize his participation, gis can be structured over a five-year pledge period. However, early gis to the campaign are encouraged to help reduce borrowing costs. Each of us has contributed to the storied history of Alpha Lambda. How appropriate then that each of our names may be entered into its halls. Gis in honor or in memory of brothers, as well as family and pledge class gis, are welcome. Recognition in such cases will go both to the donor and honoree. Each donor contributing $2,500 or more will be recognized on a prominently displayed plaque, and pledges of $1,000 or more will be recognized in campaign publications, unless otherwise requested. Investing in Lives for Enduring Returns College fraternities continue to play a relevant role in the lives of young men. Today, perhaps more than ever, it is important that we provide young college men with a small, group environment that offers them a solid foundation for their education and also affords them opportuni- ties for high academic achievement and the development of leadership and social skills. Our undergraduate brothers have already made a commitment to work hard in maintaining the programs and traditions that have ben- efited the lives of so many members over the years. Together with our undergraduates, the campaign committee is committed to this major undertaking that will allow us to reconstruct our chapter house, in turn cementing Lambda Chi Alpha's position as the preeminent fra- ternity at OSU. Will You Answer the Call? Now it is your turn to step up and support the financial challenge as- sociated with this project, ensuring that the same valuable experience we enjoyed is available for others who follow. Remember that each of us benefited from the generosity, work, and sacrifice of those who went before us. We all enjoyed the house and brotherhood that Lambda Chi Alpha provided during our years in Corvallis. e commitment we make today cannot be underestimated—it will have a ripple effect on the lives of future Lambda Chi Alpha members for years to come. Please join us in this crucial step forward for our second century! "Lambda Chi Alpha gave us all a unique opportunity to learn skills and character that we later applied directly to many, or all, aspects of our lives; but more importantly, it gave us our closest friends for a lifetime. Now we have the unique chance to be part of seeing that those same opportunities live on at Oregon State University by giving to the creation of a new chapter house that will enable Alpha Lambda to remain positioned at the top of the Greek system for decades to come. This opportunity has only happened twice before in our 100 years of operation; please consider giving to the legacy that you helped create." Marcus Walker '84, Capital Campaign Committee Co-Chair
