CLAYTON STRAIN AND THETA KAPPA NU SCHOLARSHIPS Lambda Chi Alpha at OSU has benefited from the generosity of alumni giving toward scholarship funding for undergraduate brothers. As a result, Alpha Lambda boasts the largest scholarship fund among the OSU Greek community. Clayton Strain, our first initiate, made a significant donation that established a scholarship program that began in 1978. Clayton Strain scholarships have now been awarded for 40 years to Alpha Lambda undergraduates that are active in the fraternity, on campus and have good academic performance. Additional brothers established a eta Kappa Nu scholarship fund. Continued support from alumni has increased these significant funds. As a result, Alpha Lambda awards approximately $35,000 annually to undergraduate brothers.
