6 G reetings from the undergraduate brothers of the Delta Chapter of St. Anthony Hall. It has been another successful year at 3637, with brothers actively engaged in all facets that Penn has to offer. The Hall Leads Community Service Initiatives We are proud to report our continued efforts at serving the great- er Philadelphia area and beyond through community service and philanthropic events throughout the year. is year, Brother Chris Bloomer ∆'18 was recognized by the University for his new venture, Penn Community Hoops, organizing tutoring sessions and local bas- ketball games that benefit children of all ages. In addition to Chris's initiative, e Hall has maintained our strong relationship with the St. James School of Philadelphia, providing academic and extracur- ricular leadership to children in the surrounding area. Along with our community service endeavors, e Hall has led various philanthropy campaigns, including the Semper Fi Fund and the Travis Manion Foundation, which raised awareness as well as funds for injured mili- tary service members and their families. Athletic Achievements e Hall continued our dominant athletic legacy, with many under- graduate members holding leadership positions on a variety of teams. Senior Squash Captain Hayes Murphy ∆'15 topped off his impres- sive career in style, leading his five other Hall brothers to winning the season as the number five team in the nation. e baseball team, led by junior Captain Matt O'Neill ∆'16, fought for an Ivy title, as junior Matt McGeagh ∆'16 leads the team in hits, while fellow teammates Jake Nelson ∆'16 and Billy Lescher ∆'15 pursue their dreams of play- ing in the Major Leagues. We congratulate Billy on his being draed by the Detroit Tigers. (845) 915-0010 ctavani@gmail.com Brothers Accepted into Friars Senior Society e Delta brothers have been exemplary leaders within e Hall as well as on Penn's campus, as brothers continue to form strong rela- tionships with the student and faculty bodies alike through extracur- ricular organizations. Past President Jake Van Arkel ∆'15 is the cur- rent Abbot of Friars and a Perry World House Fellow, and recently presented his senior thesis to a faculty panel that included depart- ment chairs and visiting scholars. He was lauded by the two for his academic integrity. Robert Irvin ∆'16 has joined Jake amongst the ranks of Friars, the esteemed leadership group on Penn's campus. We applaud both their efforts in representing e Hall to the best of their abilities. Thank You, Alumni e incredible success of the Delta brotherhood this year thanks to the DAA, alumni, and others who have tirelessly worked to provide us with countless opportunities and a residence we cherish unlike anything else. With another round of renovations taking place this summer, brothers have maintained a strong line of communication with alumni and are excited to see the changes and improvements at 3637. To the donors and alumni that have made our experience pos- sible, the undergraduates cannot thank you enough. Your contribu- tions and dedication reinforce that the bonds of Delta do not cease aer graduation, and we will continue to love and respect this place we call home by welcoming alumni back for weekly dinners.
