alumni.oxepsilon.org After the death of our classmate and Brother, Dave Gendron '64, about 10 years ago, several of us met and decided we should try to get together more often. After graduation, we met at reunion weekends for several years, but then family, careers, and so on got in the way. For many years since, the group has gathered at our place—first in New Hampshire and more recently in Florida, after we moved here. e invitee list is about a dozen, and we usually end up with about eight people. It's a couple's event that lasts five or six days. ese days, there aren't many people who can say they have had friends for almost 60 years. eta Chi has done that for all of us. Aside from these annual gatherings, we also meet in smaller groups when we travel. We get regular attendees from Massachusetts, California, New Hampshire, New York and Florida, and, it's been a pleasant surprise that the wives all get along great and have become close friends through these gatherings. A definite side benefit. It's true during our time on campus in the '60s we were forming friendships for life. We just didn't realize it at the time. It contains a wealth of statistics in various categories for all chapters on campus. Check out the latest report at the link below to see how eta Chi is doing relative to our peers on campus.
