The Return to 3000 University Avenue Investing in Our Future O ur investment in the future of Delta Nu will ensure the success of our chapter and will promote a legacy upon which to build an even greater brotherhood. Today, perhaps more than ever, college fraternities play a relevant role in shaping the lives of young men. Alpha Tau Omega provides a small-group environment that offers our members a solid foundation for their education and also affords opportunities for academic achievement and the development of leadership and social skills. Each of us, simply by our presence, has contributed to the history of the Delta Nu Chapter. How appropriate that each of our names be entered into its halls. Donors contributing $500 or more to the campaign will be recognized in campaign publications, unless otherwise requested. All supporters of the project giving $2,500 and above will be recognized on a prominently displayed wall in the chapter room. Names will appear by category, relative to the size of their gift. Gifts in honor or in memory of brothers, as well as family and pledge class gifts, are welcomed. Because of the magnitude of our vision, we urge all brothers to consider major gifts to the campaign. To help donors make the largest gift possible, pledges may be spread over a five-year period. Tax deductibility may be available if you are considering a gift of $25,000 or more. Please see the donor pledge form for more information. We urge your thoughtful consideration of this plan. With your support, ATW can once more provide a quality living environment that supports, nurtures, and develops outstanding young men with the skills and confidence to face an ever-changing world. The commitment we make today cannot be underestimated—it will have a far-reaching effect on the lives of our Delta Nu brothers for years to come. To the Men of Alpha Tau Omega, I would like to extend my congratulations to the Delta Nu Chapter of Alpha Tau Omega on the decision to build your chapter house at 3000 University Avenue. The University of North Dakota appreciates the leadership undergraduates and alumni have provided UND and the Grand Forks community. The administration fully endorses this project as a key element in the continuity and success of the Delta Nu Chapter. A project of this magnitude can only happen with the support of alumni. The decision to provide an excellent living and social environment with first-rate study and meeting accommodations will enhance the overall university experience for our undergraduates. I am pleased to report that the Greek system is alive and well at UND. Our membership continues to rise and Greeks remain loyal to their university. A high proportion of leadership in the University of North Dakota Alumni Association and Foundation are Greek alumni. We know that something about the Greek experience fosters involvement and loyalty. A strong university depends on talented undergraduates and supportive alumni. Your support of this capital campaign will help assure that tradition continues. Best wishes for much continued success. Sincerely, Mark Kennedy Today, perhaps more than ever, college fraternities play a relevant role in shaping the lives of young men.
