Notify QPD The Bridge "There are times in life when we are called to be bridges, not a great monument spanning a distance and carrying loads of heavy traffi c, but a simple bridge to help one person from here to there over some diffi culty such as pain, fear, grief, loneliness, a bridge which opens the way for ongoing journey. When I become a bridge for another, I bring upon myself a blessing, for I escape from the small prison of self and exist for a wider world, breaking out to be a larger being who can enter another's pain and rejoice in another's triumph. I know of only one greater blessing in this life, and that is to allow someone else to be a bridge for me." Joy Cowley, New Zealand from Aotearoa Psalms The Arizona Department of Trans- portation is beginning an improve- ment project on Colorado River Indian Tribe reservation lands out- side Parker at the intersection of SR 95 and Mohave Road, and drivers should plan for restrictions in the area. Work includes widening lanes, in- stalling new traffi c signals, and pave- ment improvements. The $798,591 project aims to improve traffi c fl ow and safety at the intersection, which experiences high traffi c volume. The following restrictions will take place in the work zone 24 hours a day, Monday through Friday, be- ginning Monday, June 18 at 4 a.m. - SR 95 will be narrowed to one lane of traffi c in both directions between 21st Street and Shea Road. - A 12-foot-vehicle width restriction will be in place. *Note: Restrictions will be lifted be- ginning Fridays at 5 p.m. and end- ing on Mondays at 4 a.m.* - Drivers should allow extra travel time and plan for delays while con- struction is underway. - Drivers are asked to use caution, obey posted speed limits and traf- fi c control devices, and use caution around construction personnel and equipment. - SR95 at Mohave Road intersection improvements are scheduled to be completed by fall 2018. Schedules are subject to change based on weather and other unfore- seen factors. For more information, please call the ADOT Project Informa- tion Line at 855.712.8530 or email Projects@azdot.gov.
