Spring has finally arrived. I feel similarly about Phi Chapter. Having witnessed renovations and new recruitment classes as House Corporation Board president over the years, I believe our chapter is growing stronger each year. This semester was one of our best recruitment seasons ever as Phi has committed to recruiting throughout the year. AXΩ and Alpha Delta Pi participated in the 69th annual Rock Chalk Revue in March. I am proud to share that these incredible women won a total of six awards, including the Audience's Choice Award for Best Show! Serenading for the 2019 Rock Chalk Revue took place in early May, so keep your fingers crossed that our women continue this spring's success at next year's show. This summer, we will finish the major renovating and redecorating of our beautiful Phi house. The HCB has teamed up with local interior design company M Street Interiors to revamp our formal, informal, and entry areas and make minor improvements in the fifth floor lounge and landing spaces. Though this process has been lengthy, the final stage is a bit more fun than those prior. Active members were encouraged to provide us with their ideas for these spaces so that they have some say in the decorating process. We are eager to embellish the house with timeless furniture pieces, but want to make sure the women of Phi Chapter feel comfortable in their home away from home. Per the active chapter's request and the work of Amy Pettit Gnau '98, we will put historic photos and memorabilia of Phi Chapter on display throughout the house. With the help of the HCB, my plan is to send out e-blasts or updates on social networks to keep alumnae informed about the chapter house progress and events over the next year. As always, alumnae, if you would like to be part of the HCB, please reach out to any of our board members. Here's to a fabulous summer! Loyally, Stephanie Spratt Schmidt '93 President, House Corporation Board sportsgirl292004@yahoo.com We participated in KU's Work Week last fall. Our Rock Chalk Revue directors and leaders helped us earn six awards at our first performance in over 15 years! We Appreciate Your Contributions L ast fall, 14 alumnae showed their support for the chapter by contributing $1,335 to the annual fund. The accomplishments and success enjoyed by the Phi Chapter could not happen without the loyal support from the chapter's alumnae. Gift levels reflect giving by appeal. If an error has been made in recording the amount of your gift, we sincerely apologize. If corrections to your giving record are needed, please send them to mlisher@penningtonco.com. Thank you, again, for your loyal support.
