Rho Chapter Strand of Pearls
appy spring, Rho Chapter
alumnae! Spring semester had
a great start with a successful
formal recruitment. Rho Chapter pledged 54
amazing new members who are a great addi-
tion to our sisterhood. House Corporation
board member Mandi Bucceroni '02 and I
visited the chapter in February, where we had
meetings with the new members and execu-
tive board members. Mandi actively works
with the chapter to ensure house capacity
is met.
This year has flown by, and House Corporation
is planning our summer chapter house proj-
ects. In addition to installing a new roof, we
are looking into installing air conditioning on
the first floor and redecorating the first floor
TV room.
Additionally, please save the date for the Rho
Chapter centennial celebration, which will take
place October 15-17, 2021, in Columbus.
Initial ideas for the weekend schedule include
a Pink Shabbat dinner at Hillel on Friday
night, afternoon campus tours and centennial
luncheon on Saturday, and a brunch and
chapter house tour on Sunday morning. An
initial email will be sent to all alumnae who
have volunteered to assist in planning our
celebration weekend this summer. If you have
not already done so, please let me know if you
would like to volunteer in some capacity.
House Corporation and the chapter mem-
bers are so appreciative of the alumnae who
have contributed to the Rho Chapter annual
giving campaign! Your support and commit-
ment to Rho Chapter are greatly appreciated
and important as we work to provide a well-
appointed home for our members for many
years to come.
Please remember to send in your biographical
updates so we can share your news in the
next newsletter. We love to hear from you!
